Low Resolution Electric Tomography (LORETA)

LORETA (Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography) is a technique used to estimate the three-dimensional distribution of electrical activity within the brain from EEG recordings.  LORETA is used to study brain function non-invasively with high temporal resolution, and can map activity during resting states or cognitive tasks, helping to identify differences in brain function in various neurological and psychiatric conditions.
